Gay Priests Sue the Swedish Tax Authority

“A homosexual couple has taken the Swedish tax authority (Skatteverket) to court for registering their marriage in Canada as a partnership,” The Local reports.

The outcome of this case could change everything for gays in this country.

Yeah, life will be much better in Sweden when old men can register Gymnasium boys as their legal marriage partners...

Am I missing something here?

Yes, you are missing something. What Lars Gårdfeldt says is that, considering the government is willing to accept marriages where one or both partners are underage, why not make an exception in cases where the spouses are of the same sex. It doesn’t make sense to recognize foreign marriages between young teenagers but not recognizing same-sex marriages. I think you are missing the point completely if you think it has anything to do with gay men wanting to marry boys.
