Obama the Marxist
The Obama camp doesn’t like WFTV after this interview. Understandably so, I guess. Nevertheless, the journalist is actually on to something. Spreading the wealth is a Marxist idea. However, it’s an idea Karl Marx shared with many left-wing liberals.
(When Americans use the term “liberal”, they tend to refer to this sort of social liberalism. Europeans, on the other hand, associate “liberal” with classical liberalism, which Americans call libertarianism. The slightly different terminology is a constant cause for confusion in transatlantic dialogue.)
Yes there's a lot of stuff on Obama that are making many here wonder if he is a Marxist. The right wing blogs have a lot on it, but you won't find any of it in the MSM (mainstream media). His family was very left leaning if not communist, his early important mentor and long time family friend Frank Marshall Davis was a well known Communist activist, Bill Ayers, another mentor, is a radical commie sympathizer who loves Chavez, there are pictures of Obama in the New Party, a commie group in Chicago, which he was probably a member of. We could be electing a socialist or Communist soon. Many in the MSM are ignoring this possibility because they like his liberal views and want him elected. Oh well maybe American style socialism won't be so bad. Let's hope anyway.
Here's a link about some words of Obama in 2001 that illustrates the point. This is something most people who think they like his stance on gay rights or healthcare but don't dig any deeper will never learn about from the MSM.

Anders the video didn't work for me yet. I still have dial-up so that's probably why. But I can guess what it was about and I know MSNBC is the biggest left wing channel out there now so anything they put out is suspect. The commentators there are masters at taking a small statement and unfairly twisting it, and then saying "gotcha". We know McCain is not a radical or a Communist. We are not so sure yet about Obama. I guess we wil find out later, because the MSM is sure not trying to figure it out now.
