When heterosexual paedophiles rape children—as in the case of Stephen E. Quick and Samantha Light in Indiana—it is not considered a characteristic of all heterosexuals. However, when a gay paedophile rapes children, the anti-gay lobby tries its best to make it a characteristic of all homosexuals. I think it is about time to honour this particular form of biased and prejudicial association fallacy by adding it to the list of fallacies.
